森林公廁 A 座落於舊站特區鐵花路及鐵道草原中的樹林間，考慮週邊豐富的舊站鐵道紋理，期望維持既有帶狀樹林景觀的水平性，又能滿足各方活動匯集的使用須求。以打碎的方式，將一棟大廁所拆分成三個部棟小建築，自然地散落在樹林間。期望能創造出能融入在樹林環境內的廁所，並創造出結合人與自然的獨特空間氛圍。
以樹木的結構系統作為啓發，中央穩固的剪力牆，配合清水模挑板作為的樹狀結構，創造出如同樹冠般飄浮的板構造。樹林中壓低的牆體滿足隱私的須求，但在縫隙中，能帶入風與光，模糊了自然與人造的邊界。外牆以週邊自然顏色為基底，配合在地工法，調整出如樹影般存在的抿石牆面，自在地成為森林的一部份。
公廁 B 位於轉運站與台鐵舊倉庫間，為了創造都市與舊站草原的連續性，也同時連接二側不同時代的斜屋頂。本案選擇以透空架構的方式，懸出水平屋頂，並以最低限度的地景性牆體，定義出屬於人的私密空間，與屬於都市的自由屋頂。
Forest Toilet A is located in the forest between TieHua Road and the railway prairie in the Taitung Central District. Considering the rich railway textures surrounding the Old Station, the design aims to maintain the horizontal landscape of the existing strip of forest while meeting the diverse needs of various activities. By breaking down a large restroom into three smaller structures, they are naturally dispersed throughout the forest. The goal is to create a restroom that seamlessly integrates into the forest environment, fostering a unique spatial atmosphere that combines humans and nature.
Inspired by the structural system of trees, a central solid shear wall, paired with exposed concrete panels, creates a tree-like structure that appears to float like a canopy. The lowered walls within the forest satisfy privacy needs while allowing wind and light to seep through the gaps, blurring the boundaries between nature and the artificial. The outer walls are based on the surrounding natural colors, and through local craftsmanship, they adjust to create a stone wall surface resembling tree shadows, freely becoming a part of the forest.
Public Toilet B is situated between the transfer station and the old Taiwan Railways warehouse. To create continuity between the city and the Old Station prairie, it also connects the sloped roofs of different eras on either side. This design adopts an open framework, suspending a horizontal roof and defining a private space for people with minimally intrusive landscape walls, while offering a free roof that belongs to the urban environment.
